Aiman is a 11 years old who is a shy boy
who does not like to interact with people around him. Except for Lim, Who is
Aiman’s best friend since they were born as their parents are a good friends
and they also live in the same area. They always walk together to school as
their house is a stone’s throw from school. Even though they know that they are
from a different race, but they still can share the best moments of their
childhood life together and having a different culture does not prevent them to
be best friend.
One morning, Aiman and Lim both met up
and start to run to school because they both are late. Suddenly, Aiman slowly
felt that his whole body was aching and everything turns dark.
Aiman opens his eyes and all he sees is
a mysterious park full of pink flowers. He forces his body up and he walks
around the garden. The first thing that came out of his mouth is, “Where is
Lim?” Aiman is so confused as he continued his walk until he saw someone from
afar, playing slides all by himself. He walks near toward him.
As he near him, ‘Oh my god it’s a
rabbit!’ what else could he say as he saw a standing rabbit playing slides in a
park! The rabbit was so happy to see Aiman and he scream loudly, ‘Guys, look
who’s here!” A minute after that, all Aiman can see is another standing and
talking animals sprinting towards him! Aiman was so confused that he sits
himself. All the other animals surround him and ask him if he is okay, and that
makes Aiman wants to cry because he is a shy boy who never had that many people
talking to him.
The rabbit come out and ask everybody to
give some space to Aiman, The rabbit calms Aiman down and slowly he said ‘Don’t
worry Aiman, we are all you friend.” The rabbit says:
Would
you like to be our friend?
That
would be so fine!
We’ll
walk to school together,
and
share our lunches too.
Oh what a lucky kid you are,
To have a friend like us!
The rabbit gives Aiman a hand to help
him stand up. Aiman look around and think that everyone here is just like his
friends at school. He just needs to throw his shyness away and start to talk to
everyone around him. Everyone there ask Aiman to play with them and Aiman is
very happy to be with many friends even though they are all animals. Aiman
remember about Lim, his best friend who has been with him through everything he
has done as his only friend.
“Aiman! Aiman! Please wake up, Aiman!
You need to open your eyes.” Aiman knows that voice very well. It was Lim’s
voice. Slowly, Aiman opens his eyes again, and Lim is sitting right next to
him, surrounded by a few other adults. Lim is so happy to see Aiman opens his
eyes and he tells Aiman what happened when Aiman was chasing him before, he
fell into a hole where the constructions are ongoing.
Starting from there, Aiman is no longer
a shy boy. He and Lim make many friends at school and they both are best friend
until forever.
